I run this site on my own and do not have the resources or time to respond to the hundreds of emails that I receive so I have had to take the decision to only answer questions that I do know the answer to without having to find out myself and only when the answer does not already appear on Whispers From Walmington.

I get dozens of emails every year asking for contact information for Dad's Army staff, photos and lots of other information that I could not possibly know the answers to.  As much as I would like to be able to help, I can only re-direct people to the BBC.  The types of questions that I am unable to answer are shown below and emails asking such information have to be ignored.
